SnapCap is coming soon to the Mac App Store

SnapCap, a macOS app that puts photos from your iPhone straight onto your Mac's screen with one click, is coming soon to the Mac App Store.

SnapCap connects your iPhone’s camera to your Mac’s screen. It will be available on the Mac App Store soon, and we’ll post an update here when it is.

Click the menu bar icon, or press ⌃⌥⌘T from any app, and the camera opens on your iPhone. The photo you take appears in the corner of your Mac’s screen, just as a screenshot does, ready to drag into an AI chat, a document, an email, or any other app.

Right-click the icon to get to your three most recent photos. Every photo is also saved to Pictures › SnapCap. You can choose whether to use an iPhone or an iPad, or let SnapCap pick for you.

There is no account and no tracking. Photos travel from your iPhone to your Mac and nowhere else.

You can use every feature free for seven days. After that, a one-time purchase ($3.99 in the US, ¥600 in Japan) lets you keep using it. There is no subscription. SnapCap requires macOS 14 or later and an iPhone or iPad signed in to the same Apple Account.
